Once Virto Tab Navigation is installed, you can add it to a page on a site where it's activated. Add it to the same page as the web parts you want to group into tabs.

## Classic page

Open the page and click **Edit**. In the web part zone where you want the tabs to appear, click **Add a Web Part**.

In **Categories**, select **Virto Solutions**. In **Parts**, select **Virto Tabs Navigation** and click **Add**.

The web part appears on the page as **Virto Tabs**. While the page is in edit mode, it shows the message "Exit edit page mode to display Tabs": the tabs themselves appear only after you leave edit mode.

Click **Save** to save the page.

## Modern page

Open the page and click **Edit**. Hover over the place where you want the web part, click **+**, and select **Virto Tabs Navigation**.

While the page is in edit mode, the web part shows the message "Exit edit page mode to display Tabs". Click **Publish** to save the page.

## Next step

The web part starts with one tab named **Default tab**. To add more tabs and place web parts on them, see [Configuring tabs](https://docs.virtosoftware.com/docs/virto-tab-navigation/administration-and-usage/configuring-tabs/index.md).
